Called the Profile of Dante, the Rocca of Manerba is divided in two parts: one that dominates the territory of lower Garda, and one that resembles a terrace hanging over the lake.
It is 200 meters high and “reigns” over a breathtaking environmental setting.
For reaching the Rocca, enter the village of Manerba in the area of Solarolo. It is well identified by signs with the word ROCCA.
Take via Leutelmonte and then follow via Rocca. The road continues for 200 meters and reaches a parking lot. The summit is steps away and then you can go up to the lake but before continuing you must stop to enjoy the panorama of the Gulf of Salò, of the Garda Island, of the Port of San Felice... then Sirmione and Lazise.
The route is accessible to all and offers natural and archeological beauty; the park was enhanced by recent renovations of prehistoric, Roman and Medieval settlements.
