In the heart of the Valtenesi, nestled among the gentle moraine hills, not far from clear waters of the Garda, is Soiano del Lago.
A territory rich in history, linked to folklore and tradition, it offers visitors natural wealth of incomparable beauty.
The Village was built on gentle hills softened by a dry and slightly breezy climate. Development has preserved large green spaces and unique glimpses of beauty. You must visit the castle, surrounded by high walls that served for lookout and defense. The church of San Michele holds an impressive organ and valuable paintings.
There are opportunities for long strolls in the village or rides on the cycling route set among meadows and forests.
For Golf fans, the Gardagolf course is just 2 Km from the Residence San Rocco in the village of Soaino del Lago.
Not far away, we find the famous Rocca of Manerba, a rocky spur rising 200 meters above the water level dominating all of Garda, and offering a matchless panorama.
The park, an ancient prehistoric human settlement, was recently renovated, and offers a tour accessible to everyone in the discovery of natural and archeological treasures.
Just off the coast, Garda Island rises from the waters in all its splendor. Owned by the Conti Cavazza family, the island boasts a Venetian neo-Gothic villa of rare beauty; the Italian and English style gardens, in addition to some rooms of the villa, can be visited during the summer season.
But the Valtenesi is also the passion for good wine, oil and for all the products linked to the cultivation of the land. The Garda flavors and wine trail offers a cultural route through a large selection of wine cellars, oil mills, inns, agritourism farms, restaurants and shops, to teach about the historic tradition, culture and art of the Brescian shore of the lake.
